The pbq VRLA battery has a constant and reliable performance. It can be easily maintained to provide proper operation of the equipment that it powers. pbq’s reliable construction and sealing technique guarantee that no electrolyte leakage can occur from the terminals or the case of any pbq battery. This feature ensures safe, efficient operation of pbq batteries in any orientation. pbq batteries are classified as “Non-Spillable” and meet all requirements of the International Air Transport Association. pbq offers two kind of VRLA battery types; AGM batteries and Gel batteries.
VRLA battery; Long service life, Float or Cyclic
The pbq VRLA battery has a long life in float or cyclic service. The expected life of float service is 5, 10 or 15 years depending on the model and operating temperature. The expected life of cyclic service can reach up to 1.300 cycles depending on the depth of discharge (DoD).
pbq VRLA batteries
pbq offers seven different VRLA battery ranges. For each battery application a right pbq battery is available.
- pbq General Purpose series
- pbq Cyclic series
- pbq High Rate series
- pbq Long Life series
- pbq Gel series
- pbq Front Access series
- pbq Single Cell series
VRLA batteries are safe and maintenance-free
During the expected float service life of pbq VRLA batteries, there is no need to check the specific gravity of the electrolyte, or add water. In fact, there is no provision for these maintenance functions to be carried out. pbq batteries are equipped with a safe, low pressure venting system, which operates between 1psi and 6psi, designed to release excess gas and reseal automatically in the event that gas pressure rises to a level above the normal rate. Thus, there is no excessive build-up of gas in the VRLA batteries. This low pressure venting system, coupled with the extraordinarily high recombination efficiency, make pbq batteries very save.
High Quality & Reliability
All pbq batteries are being made against ISO 9001 and UL quality control standards. On top of this, batteries are inspected again using a method of statistical analyses before shipment from the central warehouses to local customers and distributors. We at pbq understand that a defective battery can mean loss of data, customers and increased service cost, all ‘features’ you can do without!
